hydrolocked sxr

thought we were just have electrical problems turned out the damn thing got hydrolocked:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: now i have to figure out to get some money together this really bites:frown:

if its hydrolocked... the longer it sits with water in it the more money you are gonna have to be spending to get it running again.


take the plugs out and lay it on the exhaust side and start turning it over.

well they said it was hydro locked but also said it was seized so idk if thats the same thing but its being taking apart now to put in a new crank and wat they need to it just really sucks cause now i cnt ride:frown:

if it is hydrolocked it is just water, pull the plugs.........hydrolocking does not cause seizures..........

watersports in lbi...they have been helping me out all season and have been real good to me so im letting them take it apart then im thinking i wana send it out to paul hopefully i can work it out

yeah well i was kinda angry i guess....it sucks alot...this is the first time this has happen to me and im new to the sport so im guessing i should get used to stuff breaking

I also think you should have tried taking the plugs out first and crank it. How were they able to tell it was siezed without taking anything apart? The ski wont crank with water in the cylinders unless you take the plugs out and give it a relief outlet. Worst case you may have bent a rod or something, not a siezure though. Sounds to me like they may be giving you a runaround. JMO

yeah possibly but i trust them enough now to tell me the truth but like u said it mite be a bent rod or something i will problly found out soon when they do take it apart i will keep an update
