what is the differance in turf, molded and cut,
what one is better on a ski?
what one is easy to work with?
what one hold's up longer?

1. with the molded the groves are made when the turf is produced, the cut comes from smooth material that is then grooved out, hence the name "CUT".
2. I perfer the Molded, but the cut should install just as easy.
3. Both are easy to work with.
4. I believe the molded will hold up better than the cut.....

does the molded have a plastic hard look to it, where the cut is soft looking?

honestly, go with the molded, especially if this is going on a standup........

They look pretty much the same. I think most people use molded - I'm not entirely sure why they make both actually.

cut diamonds are elongated compared to the molded and the cut doesn't hold up as good.

Molded looks cleaner but I wouldn't let that keep me from getting the color I want. Molded only comes in dk grey or black. I think cut does lay up a bit easier, not that working with molded is tough...

Molded is also a bit more slippery. I scuff up my footwell areas with 80grit sandpaper a couple times a season. But yes, my diamonds go front-to-back :indifferent:
