Hydro-Turf on the rub rails

When putting hydroturf on your rub rails, do you remove the existing rub rail crap or just turf over the rub rails?

I'm guessing you remove the existing ones, but wanted to ask first. Some hulls have bolts holding the top and bottom together so how do you work around that?

Close up pics would be very nice. I'm going to do 2 650sx standups and an X2 and wanted some completed pics to look at.

Thanks

it's better to put 2 coat's of glue on the ski and the turf, do one coat let dry then one more let dry then sick it on and beat it with the rubber mallet.

why would you let the contact cement dry completly before you put it on.

im confused.. how will it end up sticking if its dry ?

thats just how it is. its gotta dry for 10-15 mins per coat. put on a coat, let it dry, put on another coat(in the sun helps too) let it dry, and when you think your ready to attach the turf to your ski, go drink a beer and wait somemore. then attach it...
