i installed mine last night, I'll take some pics later. The stuff is great but not to sure about the foothold padding. The stuff actually sands down pretty easily, so I did some transitioning from the thick stuff to the thin stuff and i think it came out pretty good. I would just hate to not be able to get my feet in the holds, but i think its gonna work out

I did the same and had no problems

Mike,
Here is a pic of giving her a little shave around the footholds, not to much so I did not loose the thick pad, but also trimmed the top a little too.
Super comfy. I put on my ankle supports and boots to have the right thickness to trim out so I get locked in there good !

That thing looks so sick. My biggest problem is that I pretty much only use the footholds to do stabs, the rest of the time I am surf stance, and kick my back foot toe in the hold. and if the surface isn't level my foot won't be as stable. I'm just gonna experiment with it a bit.

I used a more gradual step down into my footholds to prevent that feeling. 25mm, down to 16mm, then finally to 8mm inside the footholds. That way it's an easier transition and doesn't feel like such a drop off. I was worried about rolling an ankle or something.

True... I do the same thing. I hook the end of my toes in the foothold sideways like my snowboard and then my front foot just in the tray. I am looking at making a toe lip or front foothold. I want someting accross the whole dash for different foot placement. I dont think the bevel will make a difference but you got to be comfortable and trust what you got... I am stoked to see how you lay it out. I like Frostys setup alot too !

I always thought the fire extinguisher works good.....doesn't look all that good...and you would break something like that way to fast.......

Where can I find a front foothold like that is it something that you can buy or is it a DIY thing ? I have a couple ideas that are different than anything that i have seen. But I would like to see what is available. Because you know a 10 minute job turns into an hour , a 1 hour job turns into a couple days.
