Super Jet Hull thickness

I've tried to search and can't find out how thick the fiberglass is on the side of the hull directly next to the ebox, above the exhaust hose, directly in front of the bulkhead. I would drill a hole in mine and measure it, but I'm not near my ski, I'm in the machine shop making some new style bilge outlets that will have no nuts or threads at all, so I need a pretty accurate measurement in either mm or thousanths. Thanks.

OK, thanks, I guess I'll go home and drill a hole in mine and measure it. I can always make them so you can add or subtract an O-ring to make up the difference.

I got to the point with the prototype tonight that I know its gonna work, When I drilled thru my hull, it was way thicker than I would have guessed .297'' I thought the top deck would only be .200 or .250.

I'll post pics of this when i'm done, The idea is that you never have to worry about that nut on the fitting coming loose, It's not seating on a flat surface, and it's hard to get a wrench or pliers in to tighten it. They will be adjustable by one O-ring, or nylon washer, aside from the hull sealing O-ring. I'm not lettin the cat out of the bag on exactly how it works yet, but you should be able to figure it out. NO they do NOT "pop" into the hull, they are not press fit. Update soon.

My prototype is done, It looks good, I will test fit it on my ski tomorrow, and post pics, Without a scale, it feels about 1/2 the weight of the fittings Mac racing sells, I dont have a blowsion or cf on hand to compare to, but my ultimate goal is fit, and forget, Lightweight , and they will be avail in all the standard anodize colors( not sure about orange yet) or any powdercoat color. My anodizer is also working with me to see if we can do "half" of the anodizing process, and still get the powdercoat to stick.(For corrosion proof powdercoat) Our goal, at northeast freeride is to innovate better products for you.... Not to copy other peoples stuff to try to make a buck. Stay tuned for even more......
