Huguenot next weekend, who's down?

You can park on the beach at Hugenaut beach and ride. Or park at the ramp under the bridge wich is only a couple of mins riding. Not far at all.
There is a nice river to ride that boats and skis hang out on.
You should be able to google earth and see the beaches and the bridge. Look up talbot island.

Its right above that. That pic was taken during low tide. All the sand bars going into a u shape is where the waves break. That bridge is the one with a ramp.

Just looked at it agian and if you follow the inlet to the end is where the waves are, my bad. But thats it.

hugo rulz,wish I were down there this yr already.Its a really cool state park,with a Sweet inlet point break.best place to launch is behind the beach side up towards the inlet right where it turns into a cove,the banks are super steep and you dont have to drag your ski to deep water,its crazy tidal there,pay close attention when you go in and out the first time with riders that know the area,coming in back alone at mid tide getting close to low tide can leave you major stranded

What a great bunch of guys. I'm used to being the only one with skis for 500 miles and usually the only one on the lake so it was nice to finally get to ride with fellow addicts in some great learner surf.

Great pictures! Mine didn't turn out very well at all and the Helmetcam footage is grainy at best and too much motion. I did however capture my trip over the bars when that sand bar jumped in front of me. I was warned that they were quick but I didn't realize how quick. LOL

So when's the next big ride? Work is slow right now and I think I can get away again this weekend. Who's down for an overnighter?
