The Benelli reps came to our shop sometime last year, and we got to test ride the Pro stand up and runabout. Man, were they FUN!

You and your Pop buck up for a couple of each?
We were the first on the west coast to try them out. They stopped in Havasu before Cali, but no one down there got to ride them. We were way stoked. My dad was looking to become a dealer for HSR, which is why they came to our shop, but we weren't really pushing for it.

I did break the runabout though, I thought I blew it up, lol. Held it at WOT to see how fast it could go (built in speed-o), and when I reached 60, the whole thing shut off. Tried to start it again and it just clicked. Thought that I blew it up, lol. Turned out to be the batteries charging system failed and the battery died.

Hahaha, thought you might be working for free for a while? washing dishes at HSR..

Sure hope they get the new skis on the market soon, they sure look sick..

How did it stab?

I didn't try any freestyle, lol. Those things are tanks. Built in speed-o on the chin pad, along with a security system (the motor stays locked unless you scan your 'HSR Id card' on the scanner on the chin pad). 3-cylinder N/A stock will go 60mph. Real fun ski. Only problem I had with the stand up was turning it. It always wanted to slide. The only way I could get it to turn sharp was to pull the trim in all the turns. Wasn't an issue at all, but I thought they could have developed the bottom deck a little better. But the ski was so fun. It didn't have any bottom end power, but when it finally started speeding up, it was launching!
On another note, in the dealer catalog we got, it said that their 342hp, 2,260cc V6 Series-R race edition (which they aren't making anymore) would go 93mph, box stock. I'd love to ride one, but I'd probably end up breaking that one too, and I don't really have $34k to spend on a Hydro. They are incredible machines, definitely the future of the sport, but it would have been good for them if they got more of their skis in the US before they shut down their plant. I can't wait to see more of the newer hydro's conquering the WF's in the next few years.

How can dikfreestyle say he couldnt turn it after watching that video, it rails.
First off, I don't appreciate you changing my name, it's pretty insulting.
Second, because I've actually ridden the ski. It turns, but you need to use trim or it slides out. Killer ski, verrry quick, but it could use some handling help.
