Other How to wire bilge to 3 way rotary switch to run on auto?

Can anyone tell me how to make this set up work? Got a 3way rotary panel switch, bilge, and a float that I need to wire up so it will work on auto.

Currently have the red from the switch going to a fuse to the positive battery.
The blue from the switch is going to the brown wire of the pump.
The black wire from the pump is connected to the negative battery.

This works manually but not on auto. I have a white wire on the switch connected to nothing.

How do I connect the two wires coming from the new float I have to get it to work on auto?

Thanks

Thanks for the response but can you make it simpler for me like connect one wire from the float to the blue wire on the switch or red or white. I do not know what in series means or cutting the two outs????? I need wiring for dummies......

I highly recommend not using any type of auto bilge pump. I tried 3 of them before I switched to the rule 500 gph (2 of them). The auto type constantly caused problems from not turning on, burning up wires and corroding switches. I run 2 rule 500 gph and leave them on all day. I never have a problem with a dead battery. When I throw in I turn them on and when I put it back on the trailer I turn it off. With the auto type I replaced my switch 3 times in 1 year. After switching I have had the same switch for 2 years now. I only ride in salt water. Sorry for not being able to help with the wiring question but this might be an easier route.

Thanks. I may just do what you are doing and run it all the time while in the water, would make it easier and I would not have to worry about the float. Before I do that though, I need to get a new battery, current one has to be charged before each ride to be sure it does not leave me stranded.
