i just read the entire link i sent and there are some extra steps in there that are not needed but for the most part the general idea is there.

Neither of my skis have been started since Sebby meet. The sea doo is in Jax, stored outside, covered with a tarp. It is to hit 31 degrees there tonight. My blaster is in Auggie, sitting on ground, covered. It is to hit 37 there tonight. Will they be okay, or do I need to do something to them? Very concerned. :frown:

the blaster has been locked up for...awhile now..

The only way water could break something is if it's filled 100% to the top and has no room to expand .

Not true, I've seen ice shatter an open glass bowl (with nice sloped sides)
I figure the surface freezes first and locks the rest in.
Now things like a water box probably flex enough to be OK, but personally I flush the whole works with antifreeze.

I have a weed sprayer pump hooked to a 5 gallon bucket. I fill the 5 gallon bucket with antifreeze and attach the outgoing hose to the incoming waterline on the ski start the ski start the pump and turn the fuel line off and wait till it starts to sputter shut the pump off then spray fogger in the carb till it dies completely. I have done tons of ski this way and never had a problem. I usually winterize 10 to 20 skis a winter this way.

Here is a link to the pump that I use. It is the classic pump. I got it for free from a camper supply
