So I was able to get some time this afternoon to go grab a 3/8 T fitting and swap out the Y. I guess this should work a bit better?

I’m running into the same issues with my new set up using the same parts this guy. is this 3/8 pisser is huge in comparison to the old fitting. I had put the old fitting into the the pisser to restrict its flow I still need to put a tach and temp gun on this thing. I was looking to see if anyone had a site to order a nice 3/8 barb needle valve

I always end up putting a piece of 1/4 in fuel line into the bypass to help force more pressure on the flow control valve to make it actually open
That flow valve probably wont open since there is such a large bypass in front of it. Just leave the bypass and get rid of the valve, You can place a restrictor around .1 inch at the pipe. I never could find anything but heat and noise when shutting water completely off to the waterbox.
