I dont really get it, could someone explain, any tips or tricks. Im use to just twisting a plug boot right into the wires.
Slip the boot over the wire then cut back the insulation on the wire crimp the metal on slide boot back forward over the metal and you are done
^^ I don't do it that way. (Though I am sure it works that way, too)
I cut back approx. 1/4 inch of insulation to expose bare wire. Slide the wire into the terminal, crimp the exposed wire into one of the small sections (optionally solder it) and then crimp the big portion onto the insulation.
After that, insert terminal & wire into the boot.

X3, except I split the strands into two bundles and use both of the small crimps. I don't know if that changes anything, but I just like the symmetry.
I do the same split because I use the 20 strand wire like the JSS stuff.
Also make sure you use the proper crimping die MSD sells them.:fing02:

thanks got it before the responses just didnt want to do it wrong and waste the metal connectors, found out something great too, I can pull a few inches out on the wire so new coil for me soon, it should work fine how it is tho, I pushed them all the way back and the ski fired up and ran on both cyl's.
The older MSD dies were aluminum and the new ones are black plastic. The die I got is aluminum.
Sidenote: Where do you get silicone spray?
