how to proccede?

my worx flame arresstor started to come apart on my 40 mile trip to knoxville and part of the shroud fell into the carb and bent my reed cage. what should i do? do i just eat the cost or do i contact worx directly and tell them it is their fault? it is back firing like no other so it must be the reed and i pulled a 3 inch piece of metal out of the manifold... any help suggestions?

Your ski = your problem. Don't expect Worx to do anything but replace the filter (if you purchased it new and it's under their warranty)
