I just looked those pumps up. Not bad at 400$ shipped. But do they fit my 98 pro and would I have to change anything else to install one?

Um most likely that's the superjet set up for only 400.. the solas pump I was talking about is this one .you have to replace the entire pump I believe on our skis (I have sxi pro also) http://www.optimaracing.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1432

Thats correct. With the kawi pumps you need to replace the whole thing. They do not have separate sections like yamaha. A mag pump will not help with low end, just hook up. Honestly the pro is the worst low end / least playful hull out there. To get more low end you are looking at replacing the motor. SP will have better low end, 701 will have the best. Problem is you are still building on a hull made for carving buoys. Best best is to sell the pro to someone who wants one for what it is, and start on a superjet or a SX hull.

My pro has the small pin so the bottom end hit is actually decent .compared to my buddies sj that's another story but he also has a 205 psi ada head ,b pipe and inhancer ,mine just has the factory wet pipe and running an single carb. I like mine for the money difference ,it's an awesome play ski. But for the buoy racing hull it is i have been contemplating throwing a zxi 1100 in it ..sorry for Thread jacking Texas skeeter

650sx nozzles are good for bottom end u can get a new one for 29$
