How to fit stator coil.... ?

Dudes , e-box took in some lake water , no spark.... I have replaced coil , new spark plugs , changed cdi unit with a used good one , & starter relay is fine. Still no spark. All that`s left in there is the rectifier/regulator. Going to change that too..! But i have never changed a stator coil. Do i pull the flywheel and just replace old with new , or does it have to be setup/fine tuned etc.. ? Thanks in advance...

You need to pull the flywheel like you said, and line up the mark on the stator to the mark on the case, nothing fancy. I would try a different start stop switch first before the stator$$$$$$

Thanks for the advice , fitted a good used stop/start switch , no joy...

Ya, you had water in your ebox, you may have water in your stator area.

I know this is an old thread but I lost spark on my fx1 and have replaced all electronics and flywheel and still have no spark. How did you fix your issue?

Dude , last thing i replaced was the stator , and guess what , that was the problem , and i have managed to pop another one since... !
