Custom/Hybrid How to dry out a coffman pipe

Ok guys I have a Coffman pipe on my 750sx and I need to know if I can dry it out so I can install water injection to it. I dont know what model of Coffman it is, because the lettering has been worn off over the years. If anyone can help that would be great.

Well If I'm thinking right, isn't the water feed hole in the headpipe under the outlet water fitting...back then we took out the fitting then tapped with a 5mm x .8 tap and installed a Mikuni main jet to restrict the water into the headpipe and reinstall the fitting. You then could install a water injection kit for bottom end power.

That is right. What I did, is I just installed a valve in the line to controll the water. But I am not sure how much water it is letting into the pipe when it is running. Do you think that just doing this is good enough or do I need to complete dry out the pipe?

I thought of that, but the problem is that there is not head pipe on my Coffman pipe. The pipe is all one peace, so I cant get to the water inlet inside the pipe.
