how old of gas would you use??

Some of you guys are crazy if you are throwing out 2 month old gas.

All of my skis sit over the winter with gas in them(of course I run stabil through them) and I sure as hell don't dumb the gas out and put fresh in when it warms up!

I have never had a bit of issues at all doing this. If you are seriously that worried, mix it half and half with fresh gas.

Now, on high compression motors its is a bit of a different stories since gas does lose a certain amount of points of octane per month.

It's normal for pump gas to drop about one octane point per month; so in a few months your premium gas will turn into regular or worse.

i have 5 gallons of 91 octane gas that is already mixed 44:1 with conventional oil. it has been sitting for about two and a half months. would you still use it?? how long does gas last after its mixed??

I would still use it. If you feel that something is wrong, dump it and get the fresh gas.
