Other How much water does exhaust need....

Working on a project and wondering how much water flows inside the exhaust pipe...

No responses huh... It seems to be just like the half pipe that went on the old 550's just alot bigger.... Factory halp pipe...

Why not just use water injection at the base of the chamber and be done with it? The amount of water obviously varies depending on rpms.

I've never used water injection before. Based on that I could block the holes at the top of the pipe then and put the water injection at the base?

There are people that do that now. They run the regular B pipe, close all the screws, and then add a fitting right before the chamber for the water injection.

a riding partner runs all three screws closed with a spraybar. his ski rips! puts in only enough water to keep the silicone coupler from melting

Thanks for the insight, I am confident enough to move to the next step and find the vertical mounts for the motor so I can get the exhaust lined up correctly.

If Freestyle you can go down to 70 jet in spraybar at coupler. I'm designing a new chamber and will be playing with how little water I can put in.
