Super Jet How much vinyl to get??

How much vinyl do I need to cover a SquareNose completly? I will be doing the sides of the hull too below the keel line too. I was going ot paint, but vinyl just seems like the natural choice for me. I already have the pole covered.

Measure the lenght x height of both sides. Then width at widest point by length (Top of ski), Then lengh to pole by the circumference around the pole (Width) compare these measurements with the roll sizes of material. You can break the first measurements down by above bond line and below.

Are you talking about wrapping your ski?? I would honestly just paint it, because if it gets scratched, the vinyl will start to tear, and you'll be able to see the gel/ paint of the hull. If you just painted it with a few layers of clear coat, then scratches won't be such a big deal.

But if you insist on wrapping it, I would buy a roll of 36" x 10yd. That should be enough to do the top deck, bottom deck, hood and handle pole.

Alright thanks. I have the vinyl for the pole already. I'm wanting to do a snow cammo wrap and run snow cammo turf w/ Bstock on the rails.

I was looking at paint at one time, but if I paint I want lots of flake, like bass boat flake, flake rocks. I would like to use Douplicolor or whatever, since it comes premixed and I can lay a ton of flake in it w/ my harbor freight one time use gun, but that stuff is lacquer. I have a good compressor too and my friend paints, I could probably lay it on with no problem.

Do you know where to get the snow camo vinyl? I only have 1 supplier that has camo vinyls and material would be about $300.00 to do the whole ski, but the sheets would only be 6' long, which wouldn't be enough the wrap a whole panel, so you'd have to do a full sheet, and a small cut out on each side.

I'm looking at the bottom 3/4 of ski snow cammo, then a 2 inch blaze orange stripe, and then 3m carbon fiber vinyl for the top bit and center of hood, plus the rear of hood and pole. It's gonna be pimp. Plans are subject to change.

LOL, I was looking at the realtree vinyl the other day, I originally was going to run orange camo vinyl, but regardless of what colors I run I'm running snow cammo turf cause I like it alot, I had and XP(os) that had it and is was pretty cool looking, I think I'm going to go with an airplane design now. My plans change pretty often but I think I have it narrowed down now.
