How much to mill stock head on sxr 800?

Any idea how much to mill the stock heas sxr 800 to get high but still safe compresion for head.
To how much should I raise my compresion?

Now I have R&D 27cc. I have honed my cylinders and instal new pro-x pistons 82.75 , but I have only 160psi in this normal?

First thing to do is check squish and let us know what it is then we can let you know how much to machine off safely.

Not that I'm a pro but did you do any port work and also are you sure that you gauge is correct? 27cc's should yield approx 190-200 psi. What was it when you first installed the head?
