not sure about out there but we get js skis for 300-400 all day in south florida...the one for 600-something might be a decent ski depending on the "race parts" he has

I called on it and he doesn't know anything about it really. Bought it from his neighbor who "raced" it so who knows.

Out in CA they go for $300 to $500

Here in northern colorado around 200 for tune up 550 then 300 to 500 for nice 550. In denver craigs there is a 550 hull with 750 motor in it mint condition with tons of after market parts for $750 also comes with trailer and extra empty hull.
