with hardware, and fire ext. tube, it weighs about 18 lbs ( according to our bathroom scale )

19lbs with hoses is what I got.... the liner is very heavy.... but it does add to the structure of the hood.
Right now I have a SN hood that I cut the liner, and the top out of it, and mated it to a cut up Sq nose handle pole for a Stationary steer conversion. It weighs 11lb right now but will be closer to 15lbs after reinforcement. Not bad for a hood +handle pole weight. :biggrin: .... but depending on what I get for the steering it will be another 3-5lbs I would guess.
Cut out the liner and fiberglass your own.... while you are in there reinforce the inside of the shell with one layer of 11oz carbon. That would be my best advice.
