whats a good asking price for my ski.

new boyson reeds (15 hours)
coffmans pipe
wamaltons flame arrestor
solas 14-19 impeller
carb rebuild (15 hours)
ocean pro nozzle
quadrafin ride plate

all new foam in it this winter
reinforced tray, engine bay, inside where foam goes.
home depot one way valve
rickter footholds and new turf
basically brand new intermediate housing
4 brand new motor mounts ( maybe 10 hours)
new paint, like a month old. with some minor chips in it.

ski is in good shape and runs strong.

Sounds about right for that setup. That is a good looking 90' SJ. Somebody should snap that up. Sorry to hear that you are selling though. Take a breather and then get something newer better.

hey lance sorry to hear you're thinking of getting out of the sport for now...its crossed my mind as well a few times..but if i sold my ski i think all my friends would beat me within an inch of my life till i bought another one.....but on another note if you decide to get rid of it let me know...i think i know someone who would be interested......

and if it does have to go...you're always more than welcome to take mine out for a ride.

probelm is i know it will be there, so when summer comes and i get it out of sorage, i will be broke with a lamy motor sitting on the bench to go in it. but that doesn't sound so bad.

well bro keep it in mind the offer is on the table.....oh yeah it'd be in climate controlled storage seeings how i would probally put it in my walk in closet for the winter

my advice is keep it but don't spend so much on it unless you ride for a living - assign a budget for it and don't go over. sell other things you do not use to pay for its mods. if you are in school and trying to save money be sure to pay yourself (save money in a savings account). too many folks fail to pay themselves, because they pay everyone else and leave no CASH for themselves. fortunately there are such things as 401's & IRA's or i'm guessing people would otherwise not have that money later in life...
