how much abuse?

how much abuse and damage can a prop take until it starts affecting hookup, noticably? a couple dings ok?

Even minor dings can affect it, seems to me that impellers are a lot more fragile then props. Even little chips and dings really affect them, causing them to cavitate much easier. But with actual props, they can take a pretty good beating and not really be affected. But considering props arent' relevent to jet ski's I guess that last statement really didnt' matter.

Yep the retards dregded the launch with a loader and left a huge pile of stone about 12" below the surface, at about 5' past the end of the dock! I hit the kill switch as soon as I saw it, but it was too late.:spank:

I wasn't really that bad. it just felt like it was cavitating.
