shoot, I am using 7.5 oz 3 inch strips around the foothold and I have a big sheet of 7.5 oz for the floor.
i guess 2 - layers would be about the same strength
isnt it hard to properly wet out such thich glass sheets?
thanks!

I have no clue how much and glass you should use but I like how you got them to fit. Nice work.

I know mine put up a struggle to sit flush.

biax is alot stronger then regular cloth, but in any case I think two layers of the 7.5 would be fine. And no its not that difficult, just takes a 1 1/2 inch paintbrush and a lot of epoxy (as much as required anyways)

No problem getting it to saturate, it just is harder to get around sharp curves and corners. Its made up of 3 layers of material sewn together, so it is about 3/32-1/8 thick when done.
