How many backflips are too many - 17!!!!!

That's what I was thinking. Hey, don't get me wrong, backflips are awesome. Although I like to see a variety of tricks. Hell, even the old school stuff too. Throw in some of Lloyd Burlew's moves along with the backies and rolls, that's bad ass!

I feel that in order to be good you have to be rich these days So much for people posting up vids of trying Barrel rolls on Stock hull superjets with limited mods anymore. I remember when it was all about who had the most balls, not the most money.

Right on Xeon... I remember when guys were killin it with stock SJ hulls and mildly modded motors... now everyone spends tons of cash on AM hulls, crazy expensive motors, and (IMO) are substituting all of that for skill. I'd rather see more skill and less HP!

im with you. i think its stupid BUT 1. the crowd did get the loudest after his 15 then any other point 2. if someone started doing flips at the last second and just kept going after time expired that would be alright with me.

Hey that's a good idea! If it all just counts as "one" combo then your trick isnt finished until you can't flip no mo. :laugh2:

I'd like to see a front flip as well. Remember, there was a time when a BF or a BR was impossible.

I don't see how it could be done on flatwater, though.
Maybe with a Jetmanic type bunny-hop in front of a lipping wave....the lip wacks the ride plate area hard enough to get you to rotate?

How about some help if you want it changed instead of just bitching about it? Suggest some new video that's worthy of being on the front page. Myself, Big Kahuna, Matt_e, and The Penguin can all move threads into Featured Video, but it needs to be a decent one, not just another wide angle helmet cam clip.
