my buddy has an octane with a dry pipe and he has something like that. instead of the perferations being raised his ar flat. anyway it sounds like a indy car. wont be too bad if its rear exit.

1. you will lose performance, you need a waterbox to help with backpressure.
2. run it, your neighbors will love it. especially the cops.

The through hull exhaust on my X2 is basically just a bigger version of that thing you have there,its train wreck loud,I am still trying to quiet that thing down.The lack of back pressure does not seem to affect the performance though.

well for who cares my x-2 750 is nice and quiet and also bad ass the drilled stock waterbox is the only way to go 1995 s/s dbl baffle 5 3/8" holes in each baffle

Loud sucks nuts. I have a TDR waterbox with front and rear exhaust and with extra water running through the exhaust it still sounds like a dirt bike that the silencer fell off of. WAY too loud you don't want that or that crack pipe
