How long does the ski stay warm?

ok well this is kinda weird, but generally how long does your motor stay kinda warm to the touch for? I was out riding tonight then brought the ski out of the water and up onto the lawn on the trailer. I went inside, probably been in here for like 25ish minutes. So I'm sitting here and I hear something rev up out back, sounds like a boat motor out of the water, kinda similar to the ski. So I get a feeling that someones screwing with my ski out on the lawn. The revving stops after like 2 seconds and I run over turn on the back lights (not enough to see down the lawn to where the ski was.). Didnt see anything so I ran down there. I could swear that I heard something rustling in the trees next to my back yard.

So all these ideas are running through my head about someone being out there and screwing with it. I took off the hood and the headpipe and motor in general was still kinda warm.

Question is about how long does your ski stay kind of warm for?

I am going paranoid thinking about if someone was down there or if its just a combination of my imagination, slight fear that something happens to it, and that it was just still warm from when I pulled it from the water. Well I am going out now and locking it down to the trailer then locking the trailer to the deck so I can go to sleep without worrying :wall:

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
the engine would definately still be warm after 25 minutes..... if it makes you feel better maybe you can get some sort of motion sensor that can kick on your back light... cheap at lowes... think you can even mount the sensor in remote locations like around where you keep your ski... prob just in your head though...
