how hot should a dry pipe get? what rpm's are you hitting?

just curious to see how cold or hot my type 4 dry pipe should be getting on my ported 760. I have separate cooling for the pipe and a flow restricter in place that i can adjust. Also what rpm's are your ski's hitting in the water with a tiny tach? my ski's more meant for race and i checked the other day and it only hits 6,950 rpm. not sure what the msd rev limiter is set at but the ski pulls hard top end still

my ski and superjetbrett's ski's dry pipe run warm. comparable to engine temp, but neither one of our setup's have a seperate line for the dry pipe. how do you have your cooling lines setup?

ok yea mine gets warm right now. I have dual cooling. one feed for the motor only and the other feed for the pipe only

mine doesnt get really hot but its the water jacket your touching so its not accurate way to get the chamber temp

yea i know that. ok thanks. so does anyone know what rpm's they r at? when you set the rev limiter to say 7,600 does it actually hit that in the water?
