How hard is to hard to do your blaster

Hey guys

I ride fresh water, and jump boat wakes, sometimes I come down pretty hard.

How hard is to hard....would this have caused the premature deterioration of my engine?

Try to land it on the tail instead of flat on the water. This will postpone some transom and hood cracking, but really you can beat the hell out of them and they'll just keep asking for more.

The little plastic things on the rear covering the turf will start ripping off if you really start going for big air.

probably not. jumpin and hard land would affect hull/motr mounts etc, but shouldnt cause your motor to not last as long as it would have otherwise

Considering the big air myself and others have got in the surf on Blasters, I highly doubt that you could be getting high enough in flat water to worry about any major issues with the B1 hull.

IMO, most damage to the hull comes from hitting the bottom when landing, or when you land in a manner that hits the top of the ski.

I re-inforceed my Blaster, and have hit bottom a few times, as well as hiting the top, and the ski has held up VERY well.

If you are interested intaking steps to help protect the hull, you can find directions for how to re-inforce the hull here:

Only way to damage the motor would be to keep the throttle pinned. When you land and the pump goes from max rev to having the breaks slammed on could stress the Crank and driveline (Splines)
