i just went threw this not to long ago and mine was stucker than poop! it was the stock impeller on the stock pump and i dont think it has ever been off before. i put the prop in a vise and used an impact on the spline tool. thats the easiest way i have found.

Which way to you run the impact on the spline tool? Counter-clockwise?

counter clockwise with an impact on the shaft side. clock wise if your holding the shaft and turning the prop.

if we know the prop tightens its self up when under a load then we know it loosens up when turned the direction of the cutting edge. now you have to think, the shaft has to go into the prop and you need to push it out the back side of that prop.
