My new (used) stock 1992 X2 turns noticeably better to the right than to the left. This was confirmed by 2 other riders. None of us ride at an expert level so it becomes real obvious because we dont drag our feet or apply any other special techniques to make it turn left.
I checked the jet position in both right and left full turn position and it is identical. We are theorizing that the water flow out the jet is spinning due to the prop direction and that this affects the steering and turning - making it more difficult to go left.
Regardless of the reason, I would like it to have more ability to turn left. I could easily modify the left turn stop and make the jet nozzle turn farther to the left - but I'm not sure that this would solve the issue.
Has anyone out there solved this quirk in the handling, or do I just have to learn to ride around this trait?
Thanks,
