Have a "b" pipe that I got from Superjet113 that's in great shape. It has the black exhaust smudge in it. Just wondering what most people use to clean em out. I also see some polished, with what?
Swish gasoline around in it. Or gasoline and small rocks.
i can see where the people anal about every ounce of power/performance would care. i mean, those pipes are meant to work off soundwaves and all kinds of science mumbo jumbo. tlr would clean the pipes of all his racer's mx bikes (back in the 2stroke days) before a race day. he did say on the dyno it showed a difference of up to 1HP.
big diff on a ~25hp dirtbike smartazz :cool2:
Are you trying to clean the inside or the outside of the chamber??
Bofem. I got the gas and small rocks covered.
Now what would get that outside looking good?
I sandblast the chambers with a pressure unit. They look like an "alumacoat" finish they do on headers and paint never peels (natural finish). Now what would get that outside looking good?
