It does not look like it, but then the other types are not either. I have used them for years since back in the dirt bike days. They work great to protect the plug from physical damage but not waterprooof. Just spray em with WD40 and take em out to dry after each ride..

Thats why I liked these, they seal up tite. The others would be nice in the tool box, I need good plugs 5 miles up river.
 
I don't know they snap pretty tight but I will have to look. I don't think I remember seeing a rubber seal or anything. I will check it out and let you know.

I had the red ones but some how water still got inside, and rusted the plugs out. So now I them give a few wraps of e-tape where the 2 halfs meet, and they stay nice and dry.
 
The diference between the -11 and normal plugs is the gap i think the -11 is like .4 something where a normal br8es is like .2 something - they normally are for the 1200 pv motors and i think the 800 pv too
