back the ski up to the grass or your neighbors drive way because the exhaust will be black with water and sludge and
there is two different ways you can route your cooling. your main concern is keeping the cylinder cavities cool. first get a hose clamp and your hose. then either unhook the water line that is connected to your exhaust manifold or unhook the pisser and clamp the garden hose onto the other hose. (either entering the manifold or to the exhaust pisser T) note: if you clamp to the T be sure to kink the hose leading to the exhaust expansion chamber or your cylinders won't stay cool. and you will waste alot of cool water.
Next you will need to start your 550. then turn on the water. DON"T TURN ON THE WATER FIRST!!!! WATER SHOULD BE AT A QUARTER TURN OUT FROM THE WALL. TO MUCH PRESSURE WILL FILL YOUR CYLINDERS WITH WATER!if that happens you will need to pull the plugs and use the electric starter to blow the water out. then start it again to get the engine heat up and the rest of the water out..
after you are done pissing off the neighbors in your driveway, you turn off the water, then turn off the ski... .
sorry the pisser just goes out the side of the ski to let you know there isn't any blockage in your cooling. i am pretty sure all of the sx's had them. but one js 550 didn't....
