ive been riding this ski for about 2 months trying to dial in where to be in the tray and such. it has an ocean pro ride plate on it that has 4 fins. i have no idea what model maybe someone will know.
i am trying different shimming of the ride plate to help get the nose down. im 6ft tall and 275lbs. the 650 has plenty of power for the moment and as of now i ride with my feet all the way at the front of the tray and lean over the pole as much as i can. i know being a bigger rider has to do with it but hell i get tired of puttering around the lake. i want to go much much faster.
i think a -2 inch pole is in order and maybe a shorter turn plate as well. talking with my buddy today he thinks that the ride plate may be part of it as well. im going to re-shim it tomorrow and see how that works next time out. at some point i want to go with a pro tec plate, intake and nozzle.
i was hoping yall may have some other suggestions/ideas.
