Super Jet hopefully a simple answer.

I've been trying to figure this out and I'm sure this could be the problem. So, the other day I put a b pipe on my 11 superjet, took it out and the first day it seemed to run pretty well. Second day I ended up having to ride fairly slow for around a 10 minute period of time and it seemed the water coming out of the pisser got really hot and the limp mode kicked in. Also i noticed it had a very small hesitation off the line sometimes, and a little bit hard to start once it warmed up. With the stock pipe I could just touch the starter and itd start now it takes a few seconds and pupming the throttle. Could this be running lean on the low side being the engine got that hot? The water I ride in is usually high 70's. The mods i put on at the same time were the b pipe and aftermarket flame arrestors. It has the stock dual 38's, I did not change the pop off spring but did change the high speed jet. I didn't mess with adjusting the needles yet because it was too windy of a day to really be able to mess with it. I would prefer not to cut the temp sensor out until I'm sure of the tuning.
Thanks for any help or suggestions in advance.

go back over everything you did. it was fine before you put the b-pipe on. just putting the pipe on should have made no difference. check the water line routing. you put in the 135 mains? if you putt it for 20 seconds and then hit it WFO, it shouldnt hesitate if its jetted/running right. pull it all back apart if you have to.

So far its just the bottom end that doesn't seem right. after I run wot and check the spark plugs they are a tan in color so its good up on top for now. I did put in the 135 jets for the main. But I have some different cooling lines coming this week so I will be pulling it back apart and checking the bolts for tightness and going through everything again. Thanks

Right now the water lines go from through the hull to the manifold then from the cylinder to the top of the head pipe then the bottom of the head pipe tee'd to the pisser and the stinger, i have an fcv inline with the stinger and the straight through part of the tee is going to the pisser. I have seen drawings where they have the cylinder going to the bottom of the head pipe then top to the pisser is that a better way?

So i got some new cooling lines to redo what i have. I ordered them from blowsion but got the wrong color sent. I decided to use it anyways. I checked my low needles and turns out i had them turned out just 3/4 of a turn. I just finished putting in the lines and had reset the lows to 1 and 1/4 turn so i will see how well that works out. This weekend the wind is supposed to be blowing up to 35mph. Really sucks i hope its better than what they say. Heres the finished product so far. I plan on getting a green head now and still want to get a different impeller and footholds but i think i may wait for winter.

Blowsion did the same thing with my cooling line. I sent them an email about it abd they sent me another length in the correct color for free and I got to keep the other stuff.

Well that's not the first thing that happened lol. My original order was 3/8 trans orange, they shipped me 1/4 trans orange hence my fuel lines. I called and told them and they said they would ship out the correct size. well now i have the correct size but not exactly the color i wanted but if i get a green head later on i don't think it'll look too bad. I decided not to bother then about it again.

And that is precisely why I no longer deal with Blowsion. I spent thousands with them when I lived up in Canada and I can't remember them ever once getting my order right the first time. And if waiting for them to fix my orders wasn't frustrating enough, I got stuck paying duty on all their mistakes. I once paid $54 duty 3 times because they kept sending me the wrong impeller.

They made it right every time, (except the duty costs), but how many times will you let someone screw up before you just start shopping somewhere else?

That sucks sorry to hear about that. I have ordered a few things from them but this was the first time they messed up. I'll be shopping around from now on, I do for the most part but if i can get everything from one place thats always nice. Where do you get parts from?

Jetmaniac or Thrust for me now that I'm in the South East. If they don't have it, I don't need it.

Back in the day Blowsion or Dennis Kirk was all we had. Now there are more choices than you can shake a stick at.
