i dont see why running ratchets for hood safety straps is necessary they are there in case of latch failure ratcheting the hood down will pop the latch causing it to not work and causeing stress on the hood being overly compressd.

also it will such major a$$ when you stab you toes on the eyelet that is in the tray.
ive never seen anyone drill so much in the tray water or leakeage in that area isnt good..

no knocking on you at all just mo!!
you dont torque them down, you just snug them enought to keep the hood from coming off in the event of a latch failure

as for the holes in my tray.. dont worry about that. I have no leaks. I know what I'm doing.

that Eye is so close to the dash of the ski I dont see me hittin git wit my foot either.. especially since I will be strapped in during anything other that cruising.
