Hooking h20 injection up to a type 8 factory pipe???

Does anyone have some install pictures or anothing to help me out? The last ski i bought already had it hooked up so ive never messed with it. But i talked to a guy and he said that type 8 factory pipes really need water injection. He said i would need to drill and tap injectors into the exhaust manifold? Any advice would be great on how to tackel this task!

my dry pipes always ran best without h2o inj.
ive had all the fpp #4,#8,#9,blaster dry,sxr dry

How much porting do you have?? the Type 8 needs full porting and gobs of compression for it to work........ It was designed for full on race boats (Superstocks-pro level setups)

but, yes, you will need water injection.

Thanks for the answers! Not much porting has been done to this ski. And i just switched out the domes so i dont have to run race fuel. Guess that kinda makes the type 8 alittle pointless. Thanks for the replys

I agree with BK, to make that pipe run well you need a ton of timing, compression, etc to get it going. They did make a lot of RPM's on top though. We referred to that pipe as the "butt spoon."
