Hoodseal/Hood/Hoodhooks whats the prob?

ever since i bought my ski my stock hood never sat right on the hoodseal. it always hung off in the back and didnt sit on the front part of the hoodseal. i am running blowsion hoodhooks as far forward as they can possibly go. i just switched to a new wcf hood and a brand new oem hoodseal and it is the same way? is this normal? should i drill new holes to move the hoodhooks farther forward? i dont wanna ruin my brand new hoodseal so any help is greatly appreciated.

I have had to move my hood hooks forward about 1/8" to get the hood to sit in the center of the seal.

you need an aftermarket bracket if you want the hood to line up right
there is that lil hook on the stock bracket that sticks out and doesnt let the hood slide in all the way

if you are running a aftmrkt bracket you should be fine

get your self some xmetal hooks.

x2 - i will never use them again. I had to drill out the wholes to an oval to make them work. I will be buying XMW hooks for my new RN winter project.

my WCF hood is not straight which leads to poor sealing.

meaning, if you cut back the air intake tubes and put it on a table surface, it rocks back and forth...

i also have xmetal hood hooks for what its worth...

i have an aftermarket -1 bracket. i guess ill just drill some new holes.
