Hood straps ONLY?

GoingBigger uses no hood hooks and just a homemade brapstrap on his carbon SXR hood and hull setup. It seemed to work pretty well for him, and he was doing BR's with it.

here is my set up. i used a simple u bolt to make sure the hood isn't going to blow off sideways. i still use the hood hooks though
