Super Jet Hood seal issue with blowsion hood and rrp pole bracket

Hi all

i have had issues for some time with my ski taking on a bit to much water i used to have a atp pole bracket and the grommet wouldnt seal well so i know water went in through the hole in the bracket. i have now got a rrp bracket to run the dual breather tubing for my rrp pole to help stop taking on as much water. when i fitted it all back together and fit the hood on it has pulled the hood seal out of the well and so isnt sealing. is this just a case of adjusting the alignment of the hood hooks? also the hoos doesnt seem to be as far forward as i think it should be but the hooks are as far forward as they can be. when they are tightened onto the hood i can hear then scraping the fibreglass inside the hood but if i loosen them it goes on ok?

any help is mucho appreciated

Jim, you now understand the advantages of our adjustable hood hooks, you are going to have to do some tweaking, ie shim the hood hooks, elongate the holes in the hood to move the prongs up or down etc, each setup can be slightly different. FYI the ATP pole bracket works exactly as OEM and doesn't leak at all as long as the grommet is fitted correctly.

Just a quick question Chris. My OEM pole bracket has broken badly, I was wondering if I can fit one of your "lowered pole brackets" to my ski even tho im still using a stock hood and nosepiece. It seems to me that using the lowered bracket would be alot stronger since you also supply backing plates?
