hood seal in rickter evo or edge vrs rn superjet

Was wanting to know if the rickter hood seal area is better for water ingestion prevention than the rn yamah superjet..i have a blowsion lowered hood kit(ross champion version) and im getting alot of water coming in to the engine compartment too easily..hood hooks and prongs are adjusted right..hood fits tight..im assuming it may be coming thru the air intake of the hood i guess..
does the rickter have the same issues?? looking into getting one
any input would be greatly appreciated

you might have some high or low spots in your hood. before you go buying a new seal a simple way to check is to put a bright flashlight in the engine compartment and put you hood back on like normal and see if you see any light shining threw

Rickter Evo/Edge has a completey different design hood for that reason. Superjets will always take in water especially when side landing tricks due to the hood seal being on the side of the ski as appose to the top like my Evo.
New hood seal and a good ratchet strap over the hood will tighten it up to prevent as little as possible getting in....What Ryan said above ^^ is a great idea.
