Homemade Turf?

You want traction in your tray ?
Mix up some epoxy, brush it on the tray and sprinkle it with beach sand before the epoxy dries.
Might want to practice deep water starts beforehand.

I used gym flooring once on my 650 sx. Looked sweet, but I also worked at a flooring company and it was free. It wasnt soft like turf but it gripped like a mofo. Of course this was before I even knew the X or PWC today even existed. I might actually have a pic somewhere. haha

You know what dude, i just looked and I found an old piece of turf I have left over from my 650SX. Its white diamond cut groove. I bet there is plenty to do the tray of a 550. White turf is Bad A anyhow. Send me the dimensions exactly and I will let you know if it's enough. It's yours if you want it, you can have it for free if you wanna pay to have it shipped. Shouldnt be more than like five or six bucks to ship I dont think? Just let me know, I know what it's like when money is tight man.

I used foam floor mats from Harbor Freight as a temporary fix a couple seasons ago. I thought it looked good and it worked great for the 1/2 season I used it. No telling how long it would have lasted, it was a comfortable padded feel, but definitely not as rugged as turf.

lmao! ^^^ I still like the lag bolt idea! Plus, chicks dig scars!..........................

" see this one..... Half inch hole.... drilled it through my foot while I was drunk"..............

works every time

Can you tell me where you buy HydroTurf from? is there a website online?

A sheet of B-stock Hydroturf costs all of $25.
I don't think you could come up with a worthwhile alternative for less than that.
