I have a tank through the SJ using this seal and I have been doing a lot of subs and power subs to see how well it works and so far it works great! With just the 360 Rule on after a deep power sub it only pumps water out for maybe 10-15 seconds. (No stock bilge)

I use the one from lowes. Comes unglued a lot but works.

Mine would come up a little bit too, but i think it is because i stretched it to make it fit better. Now a month-ish later it is staying in place. I am going to get another one not as wide so it fits/looks better.. eventually...

Downside is the hood can slide from side to side some, the OEM actually helps hold the hood in place....... This is similar to the old 440/550 hood seal. If it works, great. the JSS seal is similar, but Been there, done that, wont again.

The weather stripping has deteriorated and allowed the hood to shift. I replaced it yesterday with a Watcon hood seal and it made a big difference in how tight the hood clamps down now.

That reminds me of and looks exactly like the old hydro-turf hood seal... It was cheap and didnt last either. I tried it out on a SN.
