i made 2 poles for my sxr and a 750 a few months ago, i didnt want to spend alot on buying two aftermarket poles, the amount of money spent in material was reasonable but took alot of time as i wanted to make them somewhat nice. needless to say,this time around im just going with an x metal for the freak im building, dont have enough time as it is.. as far as tube size , i used 2 1/2 od .083 6061, seemed to have the best strengh to weight ratio, and the end plates and steering mount is 1/2.(prob overkill)
