hmmm this engine in a ski?

I dont see why you cant swap out PWC and Motorcycle engines. Only thing i can think of would be switching from using a radiator for cooling to normal water cooling

at the very least of your problems those motor just start to make power where the jet pump stops working well ~ 7k rpm

That Motor weigh's about 200 pound's. it has a complete transmission and clutch basket, not to mention carb's with float's and alot of motor oil. Creative thinking though.

How would you shift it? Poke a shifter out into the tray =]? That chain drive would be fun to hook up to the pump.

that Motors Fuel injected .....no carbs

it is also pretty wide...complete custom hull required

best bet would be one reduction gear.
take that 7k rpm down and you will have the rpm in the pump you want with plenty of torque
