Buy the boat trailer for 200. Save yourself money and time, by doing it the right way the first time.

i couldnt agree more....

it only cost me 20 bucks to build that hitch tote, but in the end i wound up buying a trailer anyway. the tote works good in a pinch but a trailer is the "right" way to do it

Yeah I built mine so I would have multiple towing options,I can leave the ski on that vehicle since its not my primary transportation and if I go water test and want to ride for a minute its there, when it gets busy here sometimes that is the only time I get to ride ,it helps me keep my sanity ,what little there is left of it.

welp you guys problem solved. no more hitch hauler, i found a boat trailer for 50 bucks which i can alter the rails on the hold the skis but they will have to set one infront of the other so i wil have to tie them down tight. the trailer is an older trailer but after some rustolem paint and a new light kit and new rails and carpet she will be new again. the tires look good the wheels are in fantastic shape a little rust on the rails, and a ratchet whinch on the front.iam thinking of putting the couch on the front of the trailer with the winch hooked to it so it wont slide back and the 550 behind it with 2 ratchet straps over it to hold her in place. man you cant beat a basically free trailer.

man it seems like with a boat trailer you could find a way to put them side by side. search for some of the trailer conversions on here...a lot of guys put a blaster and a stand up on a single trailer converted by putting the rails like right over the tire. If your boat trailer is a little wider than a single pwc trailer I bet you could rig it so they were side by side.
