HIN on FX-1

This morning I went to grab the Hull ID number (HIN) so that I could register my FX-1. I couldn't find it and didn't see any place that the riveted plastic plate seemed to be missing from either. There was an indent on the right siderail in the rail that looked about the size of the plates I have seen, but it had no rivets and did not appear to have filled rivet holes. I also looked around the bondline under the hood as I think they sometimes stamp them there.

Where should the HIN be on a 94 FX-1?

The one on the right side rail is glued on the FX1, no rivets. Mine went bye bye pretty fast. There is another on the bulkhead (firewall), on the left side. Should sit behind the exhaust. I believe this one is glued in as well. I found mine in the hull a while ago, before the scupper install. Hopefully you have that one. Good Luck

Yes the internal one is glued in, and not very well. If you still have it, do something before you loose that too. When mine fell off I happened to see it
and I put it in the outside recess with rivets.
You'll need to pull the electric box if you need to take a rubbing.
