higher popoff for freestyle skis

I read recently that race skis tend to run lower popoff, as I switch my ex racer over to freestyle, is this something I should consider? I'm currently runnning 17psi on a single 44mm SBN and am going to start around 25psi on my new 46mm SBN.

I'm looking to get all the bottom end grunt I can out of this thing.

I would think your combination of jet and pop off pressure would have to match no matter what you're planning on doing. You'll either have hesitation off the bottom end or you won't. When I found the right low jet for my ski, it made a world of difference!
