Hello guys, I am new in here.. i am not sure if this is the right place to post, and also please forgive my bad english.. below is my question
1. I recently take over one yamaha superjet, but i am not sure which year its from.. i've been browsing the forum and found out that we actually can know the year from the VIN.. i am not sure if what i saw was a VIN, it is located at the rear of the hull beside the nozzle, looks like a black horizontal rubber with (YAMLxxxxx697). Does this mean the model is 1997?
2. This ski has not been running for like 7 to 8 years, I have no service/repair experience.. but I am thinking/willing to service or repair the whole thing by myself with the help of diagrams and maybe some help from here.. do you guys think that is possible?
